Sizzling Harlem Fried Chicken steeped in hickory-smoked house BBQ glaze. Steaming piles of mulatto rice, fresh-baked cornbread, melting creole butter. And (of course) Miss Stella’s famous Peach Cobbler ‘n’ Custard Ice Cream…

Feast on stunning harlem soul food by Chef David Lagonell.
David Lagonell is one of the UK’s foremost chefs. He cut his teeth in leading London kitchens, from Michelin-starred Gordon Ramsay’s Boxwood to the Harrod’s Charcuterie Bar. He rose to prominence at the helm at Nopi, Yotam Ottelenghi’s acclaimed fine dining restaurant, before heading to Bar-B-Que mecca The Smokehouse in Islington, where he led one of the country’s finest meat cookery brigades.
On leaving The Smokehouse, David became The Lost Estate’s Head Chef, cooking menus for iconic shows The Lost Love Speakeasy and The Great Christmas Feast. David now divides his time between The Lost Estate and travelling the world with leading chefs, from Michelin-starred Jason Atherton to cult Netflix’ Chefs Table star Francis Mallman.
For Lost Love Manchester, David is being joined by Sam Bryant and Alicja Specjalna of Whole Beast and The Coal Rooms, Peckham.
